TAC Holiday Party

Hello all!  My name is Francesca and I'm one of fifteen Teen Art Connect interns here at the CJM, writing for the very first time on the blog to document the fun outing that us TACs and our boss Leah took last week to celebrate our first months working here and the holidays.

We started off visiting the neighboring Children's Creativity Museum, located just across the street at Yerba Buena, to film an awesome yet ironic music video to "Jingle Bell Rock" (CJM interns, jingle bells, christmas-what?)  in the museum's media area.  Our fellow museum-intern C.I.T.Y guides helped us create what turned out to be a hilarious and festive holiday music video, complete with costumes and awkward dancing.

We then used our convenient museum connections to get a free ride on the Children's Creavity Museum's carousel.  We all had a great time acting like 5-year-olds and enjoying eachother's company on the oh-so-special merry-go-round, but had to rush out after for our next activity...bowling!

After getting our shoes on and teams set up, we began to bowl, with some TACs standing out as experienced and talented bowlers, while others took the roles of cheerleading.  The prize for "Most Skills" went to Landis, who wowed us all with her many strikes and nonchalant attitude.  The prizes for "Best Cheerleader" came out to be a tie, with Moises and Iedryn keeping good spirits the whole time.  And, last but certainly not least, the prize for "Best Loser" went to Ema.  Although many of her balls ended up in the gutter, she had  agreat attitude the whole time.

Our awesome boss Leah provided us with a pizza and soda dinner, and we ended the evening with a bag of gelt for each of us and a nice walk back to the CJM.

Thanks for reading, and happy ChrismaHanuKwanSolstikah to all!
